hi the alpha version of spriteed rebirth is available to download



i need some feedback about this software , bugs, features you wan't to have in such a software. i'll be very happy if you take the time to try it and give me some feedback.

Looks like you are doing a good job with it. The blur and blurpen are cool to play with. If you can some how shift the image you are drawing up/down and left/right, one could make seamless textures from it also.

The only thing that bothered me in this "alpha" version is that (even with my 1024x768 desktop screen resolution) the small text font you use was a bit rough on me eyes.

thanks i'll make the scrolls arrows availables in the next version. note that this editor was first made to be used fullscreen in 800x600 and the font (5x3 pixel characters) used was made to put a maximum of text in a small area :),i plan to make it useable in more resolution with a more classic font :)

- save anim (save the entire set of sprite in one file)

Does it save animations as an animstrip as used by Blitz?

Simple icons would be easier to look at than text and it would be nice to have multiple sets of 256 colour palettes for true colour drawing. Oh, and onion skinning or whatever it is for animations..

I only took a quick look but its shaping up NICE

you can save the entire anim in one file, so it can be used later with loadanimimage()

i'll think of having multiple set of 256 color but you can redefine any of these colors using the rgb slider, that don't affect the previously draw part of the sprite.
it's just a quick pick that color tool.

the icon bar is somethink i'm planing to do.as soon as i get/make some cool buttons

the 'onion skin' will be toggleable in a futur version.

just updated , now with icons, supporting rollovers and selected state for tools.

fixed some bugs from the 1.54 version
