Has Anyone here wrote a good old file importer to handle
the good old IFF format or anything else that Amiga use to use? If so can you post a link. Thanks in Advance:)
I don't know about that, but the IFF standards document can be found at
Wotsit.org(And many, many graphics programs easily handle the IFF ILBM format. Though if you're looking for Blitz code, I'm not sure about that.)
its not in the docs - but i think Blitz can load .IFF images
Yappy is correct, Blitz does load .IFF (ILBM), and so does
ProPixel, if you feel like editing ye olde images.
You are right Blitz3D Does Support that image format.
Figures though Blitz PLus Doesn't Seem to do it here?:(
Anyway, Thank you for your replys, I will look into writing
one myself:) I was (ehemm) Am an amiga fanatic, just went to the pc cuz...well, I did a great deal of work back in the day and would hate to have it all gone. Yeah I know that I can convert the pics with another prog, but I am writing a little prog to help out all you, 2d game fans when it comes to animation. I want it to support the iff format and the sound part of it to support aiff. (Am I just babling now?) Thanks for your replies!!:)
Peace
