Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Beginners Area/truspace Not too sure about TS5, but you can just create a plane the same proportions as the image and then just texture the plane with the image. Then you can trace to your hearts content.

well with waht version can you do with if you can
I believe you can put the image on a drawplane (or whatever they're called).
There is an option in the Display setup (Top right of screen) that allows yoo to have a background image displayed.

wher is it i gpt display setup but could not find it are you refering to truspace five or a diffrent version
You have two possibilities in TS5:
1. draw a drawpanel with the drawpanel tool (next to the deform tools)
right click the drawpanel tool and set the picture in the drawpanel options
or
2. set a picture as a background shader and click the button [show background color/image] in the display options...
