from the B3D features page:

umm is that a typo or is there some music format i've never heard of? i wonder because 3 is kinda far away from x and m, so it'd be hard to accidentally put that in..

.xm is a standard mod/tracker suffix so I'd say it's a typo

yeah its a typo im pretty sure,
just a mix up of Xm and S3m(Scream tracker format?)
I think blitz supports them both.
