Space Defender

Hi!

Im currently working on Space Defender.

Space Defender will be a sidescrolling shoot'em'up. You will fly with the ship trough big levels and another ship will try to destroy you (computer or 2nd player). Of course you have to try to destroy him.

But you have also to avoid and shoot at the other enemies like in each 2d-scroller.

Looks really nice so far!

If you want to have a crack at doing the graphics yourself, why not take a look at DoGA:

It's kinda like modelling with Lego, you take pre-built parts of spaceships (or buildings or robots or whatever) and put them together. It's quite good fun, more flexible than it sounds and allows someone with little or no artistic talent (e.g. ME!) to knock up a lot of spaceships fairly quickly. It exports to .X format, by the way!

You have to register it to use anything you make in commercial programs, but that's not too expensive.
