BlitzCoder Memory: User Avatar Cards wanted!

I'm looking for people that would like to contribute a "User Avatar Card" or a whole "Card Pack" for Cardwar.
Over 130 Users have already sent in their cards.



Your User Card should meet the following rules:

1. the card is 64x91 pixels
2. must be a max. 16M color "png" image
3. transparency color in the corners: 255,0,255 (pinky)
4. only one! card is allowed per user or make a complete card pack (i.e. 49 cards or more)!

could you set your name on the purple border (you can change the border colour as well if you like) and
add some "funny" words about you under it instead?

I've been thinking, to create an entire deck out of the characters of the Fairy Tale... Would you accept that, Grisu?

Aside from that I could put my current avatar in a card, but since my avatar is taken from a commercial game (It's Virginia from Wild Arms 3), I don't know if you get trouble with copyrights, or so...

Otherwise I could send in my Marrilona avatar I used before this one... Since Marrilona is my character we can't get in trouble for that ;)

I'm always happy to have new decks! But I can't promise to put it in the permanent release all time. Cardwar is getting larger... too large (for my modem :( ).

What is planned: You can download extra decks from our homepage. - So at least it will be there! :)

For your card, the non-copyrighted style I would prefer just for safety reasons.... and it's more fun!

Oh, and is it just me or are all feature names in the main menu wrong named... Edit profile is disabled, best players brings me to the card gallery, the log off brings me to the credits, the credits take me to the configuration screen, and so on...

Did I do something wrong?

Make sure your cardwar.exe is dated to 24.06. - 19:28h, please check...

The button disabled is the "resume game" button.
It is red when there is no game in progress, that has been saved.

At least 49 Backs and 1 Front.

Each card 64x91 Pixel (real tiny, which makes it difficult)
But you can choose your own desgin... as long as the transparency color stays 255,0,255.

All cards are in two horizontal image strips. One for the Fronts and one for the Backs. PNG as image format would be wise.... :)

Hey man, is that 49 different cards? Or 24 different *2 =48?

Really 49 different card fronts are needed!

On the hardest difficulty level i.e. 6, there are 49*2 = 98 (classic mode) cards on screen... So I need that much! :)

Under Question 2 in the manual under "FAQ" there is explained how to create a deck. You can also mess around with the sample deck that comes with the CWDB (CW Deck Builder).
